The Bury Governor Association Spring Term Meeting is taking place virtually at 7.00pm on Thursday 11th March 2021.
The meeting will be held via a Zoom call and will be opened by BGA Chair Richard Ainsworth. Sheila Durr, the Executive Director Children and Young People will provide an update on developments in Bury, including announcing details of the new Director for Education and Skills. Louisa Murphy, Chair of Governors for St Margaret’s CE Primary School, will deliver a briefing on cyber security and implications for schools. We also welcome back governance expert Dr Tony Breslin who will give an insight into his recently published book ‘Lessons from Lockdown’. There will then be an opportunity for a Q and A session with the panel.

The BGA also extends its congratulations to the Trust Board at the Vision Multi Academy Trust who have recently been awarded the Governors for Schools Quality Mark.
