The NGA’s Leading Governance Programme for Chairs will be delivered in Bury in partnership with BGD.
The 40 week programme will commence in October and includes 3 face to face seminars lead by an NGA consultant and hosted at Bury College. Details of the programme can be accessed on the link below:

The DfE has recently increased the level of funding for the programme and it is available free of charge for up to two delegates per school.
Registration for the course is done through the NGA website. From the home page select the ‘Training and Development’ tab and then click on ‘Leading Governance’. This page gives an overview of the programmes and you then click on the ‘Development for Chairs’ button. Follow the instructions and it then simple to register for the course selection ‘Bury – Cohort 1’ as your venue.
This is an exceptional programme that comes highly recommended from BGD.
